A billowing, foul-mouthed ball gown.

A rave in the belly of a wolf.

An empty noose.

In this playground of up-ended fantasies in which we are all complicit, a pair of idiots try to make sense of their stories. As identities blur and narratives collapse, there’s only one choice left: do we kill the princess or let her live?

Kill the Princess is a savagely playful subversion of beliefs and expectations, which peels off centuries of civilising layers to reveal the wild tales that make us.

Bait use clown, spoken word and live art to create a genre-defying work which teases and provokes.

‘Hilarious and seriously challenging’ Bait are Lecoq and LISPA trained clowns, poets and storytellers, Lizzy Shakespeare and Michelle Madsen. Bait make experimental theatre, asking what it means to be alive here and now. We tear apart and reimagine stories to grapple with how they shape our lives.

Refuge Woman is the award nominated semi autobiographical show by Cash Carraway about life in a women's refuge, government cuts to domestic violence services and the media portrayal of working class women.

The show toured the UK in 2018 with The Bureau of Investigative Journalism before completing a six night sold out run at Camden People's Theatre.
